Raphaël is a full-time missionary serving with YWAM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with YWAM Experience Asia.
He left France one and a half years ago to attend a DTS (Discipleship Training School) and went on outreach to the Philippines and Cambodia. After that, he decided to pursue a full-time commitment to ministry and has been serving in Malaysia as a missionary for the past two years.
During this time, he has staffed two DTS programs, mentored several young men, and led two outreach teams for two months each, traveling to five different countries.
He is currently investing in building local ministries and partnering with orphanages, university Christian fellowships, and pastors. He has a strong heart for street evangelism, so he and his teams go out several times a week to reach people with the Gospel.
He is also involved in reaching tribal communities in Malaysia, some of which are recognized as unreached. The goal is to disciple tribes that already have Christian believers and to bring audio Bibles (in partnership with a Bible translation NGO) so they can reach other tribes with the Gospel.
His next step is to attend the School of Evangelism, a five-month training program in Kuala Lumpur. Through this school, he hopes to grow deeper in his intimacy with God, develop a greater heart for the lost, and be better equipped with passion and boldness for evangelism.
As part of this program, he will serve at a youth camp in Indonesia and help organize and lead crusades in Kenya. The hope is to gather up to 100,000 people. Last year, many miracles were witnessed, and around 5,000 people gave their lives to Christ.
To continue this mission, Raphaël is trusting God to raise $700 per month to support his living expenses as a missionary in Asia and to help lead teams of missionaries in other countries.
In addition, for the School of Evangelism, he still needs to raise around $3,000, which would cover the next six months.
