After much prayer and discernment, the Lord started burning a fire in my heart to reach the lost, the last, and the least. After losing my father to gun violence at 11 years old, I labeled myself an atheist. My life without Jesus was marked by depression and injuries, and in a state of desperation, I cried out for God to reveal himself to me… and He did. Since my surrender, I’ve been able to find forgiveness in my heart and communicate that to the man who took my father’s life. Now, my life is filled with a joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. Jesus met me at my lowest, right where I was at… And that’s where I feel called to reach others. My missionary work consists of college revival events, sharing my testimony, preaching the gospel, discipling students, media, evangelism, and more! Missionary Izzy Schilthroat DONATE Hello friends!! My name is Isabelle(Izzy) Schilthroat and I have the incredible opportunity to go through Discipleship Training School starting in September 2025. It is all possible through Youth With A Mission! I am a senior in high school and with that comes the next steps in my life. I always thought I was meant to go straight into schooling and get my dream career right away. But God has other plans in store for me. While serving at the restaurant I work at I’ve found so much joy in helping people and bringing a good mood and smile into their day. About a month before my decision on this I had served someone who asked me why I wouldn’t want to go on a mission trip. It got me thinking that maybe my future can wait until later if I have the chance to make even one life better now. I believe that was the Lord in my heart telling me the path I should go down. My mission will include three months spent in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I will develop my relationship with Christ and practice evangelism throughout the island! The next three months will be spent in the nations giving all my time and love to the people and communities around me! We estimated the trip total to be around $8-9 thousand with $6 thousand being the DTS and outreach. I don’t expect to raise everything but as a high school student I can only work part time so everything I make goes towards saving for the cost of schooling and flight tickets . I know I can’t do it without God’s help, and I would love for you to be a part of this journey through prayer, and if the Lord calls you to connect financially that would be more than appreciated! As I grew up, I met Jesus and gave my life to follow Him. I studied at DTS in 2018, and after completing DTS, I realized that God had called me to be a missionary. That same year, God called me to serve full-time with YWAM CM in Chiang Mai. I have a heart for sharing the Gospel and have served in evangelism in Chiang Mai. In 2024, my team and I ministered in the Chedi Liam community, discipling new believers and starting house churches with them. Missionary Matt Wallace DONATE Hello! I’m Matt! And I’m about to start my 6 month school with Circuit Riders in their Fall DTS training to become a full time missionary!! Ever since I was 8 I felt a calling to missions over my life. I’ve always liked speaking (thanks ADHD) but my love truly comes from sharing the Gospel and with this came a desire to go and share the good news to anyone who would listen, like to high schools and colleges. But one place has always been a calling to me, going back to my home country of Guatemala and meeting my birth mom and sharing the Gospel to her one day! My focus with Circuit Riders is in evangelism and discipleship, learning to present the Gospel but also teach it to others! Throughout this training school, I will learn how to better hear the voice of God and to understand what it looks like to have a lifestyle of evangelism. I will experience growth in my personal leadership, I will also develop a life of prayer and intercession. It may seem like I can do these things anywhere, but the Lord has been leading me to pursue this path, and having a season dedicated to learning and growing in this missional calling will be beneficial for me and the people I will encounter. Through this program it will be a step in answering my calling, which is to one day end up in Guatemala leading high school and young adults to seek Jesus, while also strengthening parents who are giving their children up for adoption and adopted kids learning to love and forgive their families for the choice of giving them up for adoption, through Jesus and his love and adoption of us as his children. Before Jesus ascends into heaven, his last command to his disciples is to go into all the nations proclaiming the Gospel and make disciples (Matt. 28:19-20). This is not called the Great Suggestion, but it is called the Great Commission, which is a command. I believe that this is what God has called me to do with my life. Missionary Olivia Flores DONATE Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m on staff at East Bay Prayer Furnace located in Livermore, California. I started attending EBPF in high school and now going into my 20’s, the time spent in the prayer room has marked me. The Lord has called me to live a life of prayer and simple devotion, tending to His presence, until He returns. My lifelong prayer is to see the heart of King David expressed in my generation and in the Bay Area. A heart that will not rest until a resting place for the Lord is established night and day (Psalm 132:4). The Lord has given me a passion specifically for music, and I serve at the prayer room leading worship around 10 hours a week on prayer sets and at our weekly services. Missionary Emma Bartlett DONATE Hi! I am Emma Bartlett, a missionary with YWAM Fire & Fragrance Training School in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. YWAM (Youth With A Mission) is a global non-profit organization( https://ywam.org/about-us ). Our mission is to “Know God and make Him known.” After coming to know and love God ourselves, we disciple students and bring the good news of relationship and reconciliation to God that we have through Jesus. From every nation, to every nation. I began my journey with YWAM in September of 2021 beginning with the six-month DTS (Discipleship Training School) program. I gave my heart to God and my full yes to pursuing “The Great Commission”. Jesus says to us, His Disciples: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 “His kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a three-month discipleship-focused school. I will be encouraging students in their walk with the Lord 1-on-1 as they learn and encounter God. After this “lecture phase,” I will be leading a team on a twelve-week mission trip to a nation. With deep joy, gratitude, love, and adoration for God in my heart, as a YWAM Staff leader, I get to give my all to His children- throughout the world as well as the students in their DTS. Missionary Olivia Geyling DONATE Hi there! My name is Olivia and I am a nurse from California. I am blessed to have been introduced to Jesus at an early age by my wonderful parents. At the age of 7, the Lord used an ill family member to captivate my heart for serving others through medical care. I got to experience the love of Christ through nurses, so when I got to college I wanted to do the same for others! I attended George Fox University and graduated with my BSN in spring of 2024. Near graduation, the Lord used a mutual friend to tell me about GoCorps. GoCorps is a missions agency that exists to invite the next generation into global missions. It was through GoCorps that I got connected with YWAM Ships, which uses medically-equipped ships to bring healthcare and Oral Bible Translation to isolated areas. Now I get to serve as a nurse on board the YWAM Liberty, a vessel currently serving the Madang Province of Papua New Guinea.
