Missionary Jennifer Agger DONATE My daughter and I were called to Youth With A Mission (YWAM) last year in a sudden and powerful way. We came to attend a Discipleship Training School at YWAM Kona and after we arrived, God began to put it on our hearts to step into missions full time. So after our outreach in Mazatlan, Mexico, we went home and packed up all of our things to go into storage and quickly made arrangements to step into long term missions. YWAM was birthed when founder Loren Cunningham had a vision from God of wave upon wave of young people flooding the nations with the Gospel. From this vision, Loren and his team humbly pursued the voice of the Lord and walked in obedience to establish the first campus where they began to train and equip young people to go into the nations. Over the years, YWAM has grown into an organization that has locations all over the world where people come to experience complete transformation in discipleship schools (DTS) which consist of 3 months of lecture and then a 2 month outreach. Here at Kona, Emily and I are blessed to be members of the biggest missionary base in the world. Every quarter, hundreds of people are equipped and sent! Emily and I have continued to listen to the leading of the Lord as we step into the ministry He has called us to. Currently, I am in the role of staff in the Crossroads DTS which is geared toward people of all ages: families, singles, married couples, from young to old. As a staff member, I work with our team to facilitate the DTS, lead small groups, and minister to one on ones. After lecture, I will lead an outreach team for 2 months, then we will gather together with our class once again and we will all debrief together, sharing testimony and insights gained from our outreach locations. From there, it will be time to prepare for the next quarter. We feel like God has shown us that He is making our home here in Kona, but with each quarter comes the opportunity to seek God to see where He is leading for the next season, so that's what we do. We are seeing God moving powerfully in the nations and the harvest is ripe! Please consider joining us if you feel like you may be called to the nations. You will not regret it! Every position at YWAM is a volunteer position and while we are currently blessed to have a space to live on campus, there is a fee to live there and it is not guaranteed from quarter to quarter because of space constraints on campus. Missionary Jordan Duarte DONATE Hi! My name is Jordan, and I am so glad you are here! During my teenage years in the midst of the hardest and darkest time of my life, I was introduced to the miraculous love of the Father. I was overwhelmed by the heights, widths, lengths, and depths of His love for me. I made a vow to God that for the rest of my life I would do what it takes “To Know God and to make Him known”! In January of 2023, fresh out of high school I did the “Fire and Fragrance DTS” with YWAM Kona. I fell more madly in love with Jesus. My heart was transformed, my eyes were fixed, and my ears were opened to the ways that the Father loved the nations. Now I have the privilege to leave all that I know and partner with the one who knows me best (Jesus) to travel all corners of the earth to pursue full time missions. I will be staffing YWAM Kona’s Fire and Fragrance DTS for the next two years, with that I get to walk alongside and lead young people who have the same or similar calling over their life. In order to realistically pursue missions full time and to walk in the obedience of Gods calling over my life, I need the help and partnership of YOU! Missionary Hillary Beer DONATE Hello everyone! My name is Hillary Beer. I am 20 years old and I am from a small town in Pennsylvania. This September I will be attending a 6-month discipleship training school called Circuit Riders in Huntington Beach, California. Circuit Riders is apart of YWAM (Youth With A Mission). The first 3 months will be filled with biblical training, and the last 3 months will be focused on outreach. During outreach I will be sent to cities, colleges, and high schools to spread the love of Jesus Christ and to help raise up spiritual leaders! The name Circuit Riders dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, when a group of passionate preachers would ride horse back to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to people all over the American frontier. The modern Circuit Riders community take this same passion and apply it to a modern world. I want to be a part of this movement because I want to show my generation that it’s always worth it to step out in faith and be bold about what Jesus has done in our lives! My heart burns for seeking out the lost, and meeting people where they are at. I am doing this school to get out of my comfort zone and tap into my leadership skills. God doesn’t call us to stay comfortable, He calls us to be uncomfortable! In the book of Acts it documents the apostles’ journey of spreading the gospel. It was not easy, and it eventually lead to death, but they never stopped telling people about Jesus! They didn’t let fear and judgment hold them back! Acts 5:41-42 says, “Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name. And everyday, in the temple and from house to house, they did not cease teaching and preaching that the Christ is Jesus.” I am excited and ready to help others stand out in their faith in a culture that is telling them to stand out in other ways. In order to attend this school and continue to peruse full time missions after this program ends, I need financial support. It will take $13,000 to be comfortably funded for this 6 month experience. Missionary Tristan Brink DONATE Hello friends and family! My name is Tristan and I am a full time missionary serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) based out of Kona, Hawaii. I attended Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Kona in the fall of 2023. Since then I have been set on fire for the Lord and helping to see the great commission fulfilled! In DTS I encountered the Lord in such a beautiful way. From that experience, I realized the biggest calling in my life was to go fourth and help bring the truth of the gospel to all people, from all nations. I have had the honor and privilege to go on multiple outreach mission trips. I have witnessed many miracles, healings and wonders. Through it all, I have seen hundreds of salvations! However, I know the Lord still has more ways to use me out in the world and I don't plan on stopping in missions any time soon! As I stated earlier, I currently serve with YWAM out of Kona, Hawaii, specifically as a staff member with the training school: Fire and Fragrance. F&F really reaches the hearts of its students and sets them up in such a great way to live a missional life. It teaches them to serve, care for and evangelize to people. Fire and Fragrance also has two goals at heart when it comes to missions. Reaching the “least reached” people of the world and also starting youth movements in the places where God is already accepted/known. Overall our goal is to see revival start like fire and to keep that fire burning. It really is an honor to say I am a part of a school that changes so many lives, as well as taking part in the missions that are shaping the world as we speak. I am truly thankful to God for the way He’s moving with me, through me and the calling He’s placed upon my life in missions. It truly is the life path I choose to be in! I have strongly felt His calling to long term missions. So, I am working to set myself up to live a life somewhere that people do not know Jesus. I want to bring His hope and light amongst these people! Without people like you, much of what I do would not be possible. Which is why I am asking for your partnership in financial aid and prayer!
