Missionary Kyla Blackburn DONATE Aloha everyone! My name is Kyla Blackburn, and I am currently serving with Youth With A Mission. I attended a Discipleship Training School in Colorado with a mission trip to Thailand in 2023, then went on to do a Creative Media Course and a Discipleship Bible School in Kona Hawaii in 2024. I am from Colorado but have been living in Indiana with my family since 2018. One of the things I want to put emphasis on is the Great Commission, it is what I am striving to be a part of. Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. [20] Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” There is a calling on my life toward missions, so for the foreseeable future I will be staffing YWAM Kona in Hawaii. This will include a variety of different positions and schools, but it will all be thought through with prayer and a foundation with the Lord. In the fall of 2024 I will be staffing a Discipleship Bible School, the same school I just completed. Then in early 2025 is the likelihood of staffing the Creative Media Course and being on the media team staff that runs the school. That was the other 3 month school I did in January where every week was a new media-related skill. My goal is to continue what it means to be a disciple and to disciple others. Whether this be through Bible teaching, or in media and sharing stories of what the Lord has done. Each step in my life will be led by the Lord, and I look forward to seeing where He takes me! YWAM is a missions training and sending organization with a primary goal to know God and to make Him known. I currently work training people who are interested in becoming missionaries. We lead them through a six month discipleship program, where we learn about who God is, and why He sent Jesus. I disciple these students both in a classroom setting, and on the mission field, while spreading the good news of the Gospel to the nations. MISSIONARY Aslinn Cleland DONATE My name is Aslinn Cleland and I am a full time missionary with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Circuit Riders based in Huntington Beach, California! Circuit Riders is a division of YWAM, a global missionary training organization founded in 1960. Our purpose is to spread the gospel to young adults all over the country and train them to go out and share the love of Jesus with their peers. Our goal is to “save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all.” Each year we launch out on our tour and speak in high schools and college campuses all across America. I was introduced to YWAM and Circuit Riders when they came to my high school every year for their Carry the Love Tour. Through that experience and the relationships that I formed with the team members, I decided to join Circuit Riders straight out of high school. I did my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in Huntington Beach, California. It was such an eye-opening experience for me, and I had the opportunity to grow in my relationship with Jesus and go deeper than I ever have before. I was able to share the gospel with people on the streets which was something I had never done before and I absolutely fell in love with it. During my outreach tour in Washington and Oregon, I got to see 26 salvations, 47 rededications, and 39 healings. It was an awesome experience that grew my faith and instilled in me a desire to continue working with young adults. This is my second year involved with Circuit Riders and my first year to serve as staff. As a part of this organization, I will have the opportunity to commit the next two years to serving in high school and college campuses around the country to further spread the gospel. We believe in the empowerment of young people to activate the rest of the world. Circuit Riders is a grassroots movement that started back in 2011 as a mere group of young people that were hungry to see revival come to their college campuses and has grown to become an official YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Discipleship Training School that trains over 200 students every year to live a missional lifestyle and reach their generation with the gospel. I am currently serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) at the University of the Nations (U of N) in Bali , where I am part of the Discipleship Training School (DTS) staff team. My heart is to follow Jesus wherever He leads and to invest my life in young people through discipleship, worship, and missions. I was raised in a Christian family, but for many years I didn’t truly know God personally. I struggled deeply with my identity, fear of the future, stress, and the pressure to build a successful career. Like many young people in Madagascar, I believed that my future depended mainly on financial success and the opportunity to go abroad. But as I began seeking God through relationships with believers and a YWAM prayer group, He began transforming my heart and helping me discover my identity in Christ. During my DTS, God confirmed a strong calling in my heart for discipleship, youth ministry, worship, and missions. Today, my heart is especially for young people who feel lost, uncertain, or confused about their identity and future. With social media, globalization, and so many voices influencing this generation, I believe young people need to be reminded of who they are and whose they are. Through discipleship and worship, I want to help them encounter God personally, discover their identity in Christ, and understand the purpose He has for their lives. I believe that investing in one young person can impact an entire generation , and I want to give my life to serving this generation wherever God leads me. I am currently taking a step of faith to continue serving in missions, and I am looking for people who would be willing to partner with me through prayer and financial support.
