Journey Ministries Sonny & Becky Misar DONATE Sonny and Becky Misar have been in pastoral ministry since 1986. Together, they are called to: “Serve those who Serve, Minister to those who Minister and Equip those who Equip.” In 2010 they founded Journey Ministries, LLC and have authored two books: Journey to Authenticity and Journey to the Father. Sonny has been the Director of the Radiant Network since 2019 ministering nationally and internationally while based out of Radiant Church in Richland, Michigan. Married in 1987, they have four adult children and a growing number of grandchildren. Many pastors, churches, missionaries and Christian workers need real hands-on care. Often they feel isolated and alone with no ‘safe’ person to lean on. Pastors are leaving the ministry at an alarming rate. Often, great churches get stuck and need outside consultation to help them move forward. Eldership teams need teaching and coaching on critical leadership issues. Missionaries are crying out for on-site support, training and resourcing. Church affiliations and missions agencies are doing what they can, but much more help is needed for those on the front lines of Kingdom expansion! Missionary Joshua Sanders DONATE Hello, I am Joshua Sanders. I am a young adult passionate about Jesus and on my way to becoming a full-time missionary! I am currently serving with Youth with a Mission in Kona, or YWAM Kona, on their Prayer Room staff. I aspire to be a full-term missionary in Africa, traveling around to share the gospel, help communities, and build relationships with the people of Africa. In 2023, I did a Discipleship Training School with YWAM and went to Kenya. This experience opened my eyes to what the Lord was doing in the nations and especially in Africa. It grew my heart for the continent of Africa, the country of Kenya, the people of Kenya, and the nations. In June 2025, I completed secondary school through YWAM, specifically the School of Biblical Studies (SBS). It was an intense 9-month Bible school where we went through the Bible 5 times. It increased my heart for the word and increased my understanding of it. As I mentioned before, I am currently serving with Youth with YWAM Kona, on their Prayer Room staff/ team. We are over the worship that goes on the base. That is serving or playing worship on the weekly set lists Monday Mornings, Ohana gatherings on Monday nights, Contendings every morning from Tuesday-Friday, Ministry Nights on Thursdays as well as serving on sound, lights, running the Music track for DTS students and leading worship for other schools. Additionally, we are stewarding the Prayer Room, running/looking over devotional sets happening in the Prayer Room, serving the local community (in church or other areas), and just serving the base in any way possible. I need your guys’ help! To do this long-term, I would love it if you could financially partner with me! This is a job, but it isn’t paid! With your help, I can serve the Lord and help the nations receive the gospel! I can do what the Lord called me to do! Missionary Julia Gilmore DONATE Hi, I’m Julia! Fall of 2024, I was able to be a part of Circuit Rider’s Discipleship Training School (DTS) where I got to learn from teachers and speakers, be immersed in the culture and community of Circuit Riders, and get trained in how to share the gospel. I got to spend two and a half months on the road, traveling with a team of young people who love Jesus. We held gatherings on college campuses all over the Pacific Northwest. We saw college students saved, activated in their faith and trained to share the gospel with their campus! The young people in America are hungry for Jesus! Now I have the opportunity to join Circuit Riders full-time as a missionary! Circuit Riders is a community of young people who want to see this generation saved and see Christians activated in their missional calling. Our heart is to “save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all.” This is taking place through high school and college campus tours around the US, Canada, Europe, South Africa, and more! For as long as I can remember, my heart has been for people to live in health and wholeness—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In part, this calling found expression through my nursing career. The tremendous privilege of walking with people in their most vulnerable moments taught me the power of presence, compassion, and prayer. It also shaped my conviction that healing begins and flows from authentic relationship with God. I witnessed firsthand the tender, endless care Jesus has for every heart He created—and His unwavering commitment to love His children back to life! With prayer and wise counsel, I am excited to share that I will be stepping into full-time ministry for the next two years with Prayer House , based in Wilmington, NC. I have come to know Jesus as the living, present, and deeply personal God who heals, restores, and welcomes us into relationship. Missionary Sadie Mangum DONATE Hi! My name is Sadie Mangum, and I recently graduated from high school. I enjoy singing, playing my guitar, and have a heart for leading young people in worship. I have the incredible opportunity to go out to Huntington Beach, California to do a Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Circuit Riders this fall! Circuit Riders' goal is to reach a generation of young people by saving the lost, reviving the saved, and training them to go out and do the same. This 7-month Discipleship Training School that I will be attending is called the CR Experience. This school is an official YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Discipleship Training School run through the ministry of Circuit Riders. I will spend three months in Huntington Beach for a "lecture phase". This phase will contain daily training sessions, corporate prayer and worship, weekly outreaches, small group discipleship, and hands-on skill set training that will equip me to reach my generation with the gospel. Following the lecture phase, we will spend 3 months on outreach. This outreach is called Carry The Love. This is a campaign that is geared toward reaching the university campuses of America and the nations. On this outreach, we will hold evangelistic events, do one-on-one evangelism, hold evangelism training, lead small groups, and serve local communities. MISSIONARY Ellen Stines DONATE Hi! My name is Ellen Stines, and I have been serving as a missionary in South Africa since 2021. I am currently on staff with Fire & Fragrance in Potchefstroom. My primary role is overseeing the day-to-day operations of our finance office. I help manage the financial systems that support our ministries, training schools, outreaches, and events. I love using practical administration and leadership to help make missions possible and equip others to walk sustainably in their calling. I also lead a weekly outreach to Hope Again Recovery Center, a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. Each week, we have the opportunity to build relationships, share the Gospel, pray with residents, and encourage them as they pursue freedom and restoration. Alongside my ministry work, I am pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership. My doctoral project focuses on equipping new missionaries to build sustainable financial partnerships so they can remain healthy and effective on the mission field. I am excited to use what I am learning to strengthen and serve missionaries here in South Africa and beyond. I am also passionate about seeing the local church mobilized for missions. MISSIONARY Isabelle Johnson DONATE Hi, my name is Isabelle Johnson, and I am a missionary with the non-profit missions organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM)! YWAM’s mission statement is to “Know God and make Him known.” To make Him known in the world, you must first know Him. I did my Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Nürnberg, Germany, in the Fall of 2019. I studied what it means to be a Christ-follower and was able to put that into practice over the course of six months. During that time, I discovered Jesus in a new light and my life was radically changed! I have a newfound love for the Lord and to see the world know Him. Relationship with Jesus is so much more than church on Sunday. I am currently doing a secondary school with YWAM called “Foundations for Revival and Reformation.” I am now located in Kona, Hawaii, and have committed to joining the staff team of this school for 2 years. In Rev & Ref we learn God’s word (read through the Bible in 3 months), learn to know God’s world (study worldview for 3 months), then learn to communicate God’s word to God’s world (3 months of communication studies)! My relationship with God is continually growing as I learn to know Him more and more each day. As a staff member, I will be helping to train and equip other young people for long-term missions to make God known in the world! I am expectant that the Lord will do great works in and through me during this next season. And I cannot wait to celebrate other students in their giftings and callings – God is good! Missionary Emmy Karlendal DONATE 👋 Mission trip to England! Hi! I'm Emmy, a 23 year old girl from Sweden who have a heart for the nations! And this fall I’m going to Harpenden, England to serve as a missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). After completing a Discipleship Training School in Australia (2022–2023) and a 3 month Bible course in England in 2024, I felt strongly called to return to YWAM and continue sharing God’s word. I’ll start with a 3-month training called School of Mobilization in the fall 2025, focusing on reaching young people in the UK, followed by outreach in Europe. After that, I plan to stay and continue working with the team “Neighbors & Nations" who's work is also to reach out to young people, partnering with local churches and spreading the gospel around the UK and further! I will be trained in leadership, outreach, evangelism through worship, preaching and media as well as participating in events like The Send UK and Ireland. I will travel for mission work across England, Scotland, Ireland, and other parts of Europe making God's name known! To make this journey happen I need your help.
