Missionary Chandler Puckett DONATE Hey guys! My name is Chandler Puckett and in September of 2024 I accepted a call into cross cultural missions. Over the past year and a half, I've been on a journey of building a strong foundation of outreach experience, training, and sound doctrine in preparation for launching into the field full-time starting in June of 2026. Through my first two-month outreach in Uganda God has given me a huge heart for the people not only Uganda but Africa as a whole. I plan to begin full-time ministry there starting with a four-month outreach beginning in July 2026. This outreach will consist of six weeks assisting a long-term Bible translation project in Zambia, a 2-month mission-building trip in Uganda (with a focus of fielding long-term contacts, scouting plant sites, and relationship building), and finishing out by joining a local team from my hometown in Malawi. In my transition from training and preparation into full-time ministry, I'm seeking long-term partnership, both financially as well as in prayer, both for the start of my missions’ journey and all of the amazing things to come. God is doing amazing things in and through me and I'm eager to partner with those who believe in me, but much more importantly in the call God's placed on my life. We have been missionaries with YWAM for 14 years and have served in China, Brazil, Japan, and most recently our home, Long Beach, CA. In September we are moving our family to Tokyo, Japan to plant a church. Japan is considered the second largest unreached people group in the world. This means that most in this country have never heard the gospel and in fact, many that we have met there have never heard the name of Jesus. Can you imagine? When we think of what He has done in our lives how can we not commit to sharing this good news to those that have never heard? Our vision for our church plant in Tokyo is all about evangelism and creating community. Missionary Jake & Vaida Strong DONATE Hello! (Or “Sveiki!” in Latvian) We are the Strong family from King, NC: Jake, Vaida, and our three little boys—Niko (4), Anthem (4), and Honor (1). Throughout 2025, the Lord has made it abundantly clear that He is calling our family overseas to serve with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Latvia in Northern Europe from January through July 2026. We hope to join a YWAM team full-time in the future, likely around 2027, though we do not yet know when or where; all decisions regarding this will be prayerfully made after we return in July. We are currently seeking one-time donation support to cover the costs of our six-month mission. During this time, Vaida will complete a Discipleship Training School (DTS), preparing her to go on staff with a YWAM team in the future. Jake, who completed his DTS in 2004, will immediately serve on staff with the YWAM Latvia team, discipling young men from all over the world. The other half of Jake’s time will be spent caring for our three boys in a foreign country—a big responsibility, indeed! The DTS includes approximately 3-4 months of classroom training with intensive Bible discussions, prayer and worship sessions, local outreach, and discipleship training, followed by a 2-month outreach to another country (location TBD). This may require additional flights for our family, adding to the cost. Other expenses we must cover include: Flights to and from Latvia (and potentially our outreach country) Fully furnished apartment rental for six months Continued utility payments for our home in King, NC Car rental and gas for six months International health insurance for our family of 5 Cell phone service Groceries, toiletries, and clothing (brrrr…Latvia is cold!) Passports Savings to cover living expenses upon return, in case Vaida cannot immediately resume work With all of this in mind, our financial goal is $50,000 to support our family of five for these six months. We know this is a big goal, but our God is bigger, and we trust Him to provide. Currently, we are only requesting one-time donations. Once we return and discern our next steps in ministry, we will pray for ongoing monthly supporters to help us continue God’s work, wherever He calls. YWAM provides a unique opportunity to invest in the lives of young people from all over the world. Missionary Bonnie Gavin DONATE Hi, my name is Bonnie Gavin! I’m so excited to share that I’ll be joining YWAM's Maternal Health School. I wanted to charge directions for a while, and I have always loved babies, so this feels like the perfect way. Last year, I did the Fire & Fragrance Discipleship Training School. Through that, the Lord deepened my relationship with Him and my burning to go to the nations and serve others! During this past season, I was praying and asking the Lord what He wanted my next steps to be, and He placed this school on my heart. Through this missions school, I will be learning how to provide both physical and emotional support, as well as encouragement and hope to families during pregnancy, childbirth, and after.
