The Greek word “Koinonia” is the word used at the end of the Letters to the Corinthian church translated to the word “communion.” This word means, “partnership, fellowship, and intimacy.” Paul uses this word as the kind of relationship we are to have with the Holy Spirit! This is what’s I believe the church worldwide NEEDS to have more of; in worship, in word, in daily living! Missionary Terry Chon DONATE Hello! I am Terry Chon a Korean American missionary based in the Philippines at this current time. I finished my DTS in the Philippines (Discipleship Training School) on February 2025 and decided to stay and staff with YWAM Impact because of the vision I had received from God during my stay here. I saw our base growing into a missional hub where the Philippines will not only be a missions receiving nation but a missions sending nation. I wanted to honor that vision with pure obedience and dedication to God, so my main mission is to grow our campus/base so we can host more Schools meaning we get more students which could potentially also grow our staff as well. I have joined our operations department here at our base so I can help bring that vision into fruition with our operations team. With our steadily growing base it’s in a very transitional period right now with really bringing up all the staff so we can go on tour in the Philippines and have everyone capable of doing many things involving missions by having them have their hands in every role as they grow. My time here in the Philippines will eventually come to an end when I reach the vision I had with God and I just wanted to share what comes next. God has been really pushing Korea into my heart and has been stirring it mainly involving North Korea but it would be Korea as a whole I believe. With North Korea it would be to help our brothers and sisters in that nation being persecuted for their belief and in South Korea it would be to end the cultish side of Christianity over there or those only believing in prosperity gospel or even just propaganda that doesn’t even pertain to the gospel. I believe that I will be a missionary for life always working towards the betterment of the kingdom, spreading the gospel and helping those who are lost. With that it comes with a financial and a spiritual burden on me and I just ask for help in my funds and prayer for my current mission and my future mission. MISSIONARY Luke & Naomi Ostberg DONATE We are Luke and Naomi Ostberg with three kids and my mom in our home. We served in the Dominican Republic for 8 years under Fight Ministries, Inc. (an anti human trafficking org for minors). We continue to serve on the board of Fight, but the Lord called us to Colorado to help serve at Calico Buffalo Base Camp. This camp is being restructured, remodeled and built up to serve families, and the body of Christ in these challenging times. We will host Christian events and retreats once open as often as the Lord leads. The Lord has burdened us that this will be a place of worship. We only want to be led by the Spirit in faith. I currently am doing construction full time on the campus so that we can fully open. We need the body to come along side us to help offset cost for not only the mission but our families general living expenses. We are going all in on the camp and this is a full time job plus. Missionary Alejandro & Elizabeth Peraza DONATE Hola! We are Alejandro and Elizabeth. We have been active in missions since 1994. I, Alejandro have also been in pastoral ministry since 1993, always being assisted by Elizabeth, and both involved in church planting since 1984. We have served primarily in Cuba. We have been married for 38 years, we have three children, already married, and six grandchildren. We moved to the United States in March of 2023. We are currently settling in Oklahoma. We recently completed a Church Planting Residency, and are beginning a Hispanic church plant in Edmond, Oklahoma. We also plan to continue supporting the church and the mission in Cuba. We have worked in youth ministries, marriage ministries, church planting, pioneering ministries, training leaders, processes to restore congregations, and training and mentoring leaders, missionaries and pastors. We are part of the national leadership of DCPI-Cuba (Dynamic Church Planting International), where we serve as master instructors, teaching church planting seminars, and mentoring planters. We also started in Cuba the Ministry “Foundations for the International Family” (FFI), of which we are its national coordinators. Our main ministry has been to be the initiators and leaders of YWAM in Cuba, for 30 years. This mission has had to be carried out underground, linked to some already established local churches. Also, in these last eleven years we have been part of the pastoral planting team of the “Paths of Justice” Church, in Havana, Cuba. At whose headquarters we have carried out many of YWAM's ministerial activities. By the grace of God, we have held seminars in churches, mini schools, EDEs/DTS, mini arts schools, Biblical Worldview School, ministries with artists, with entrepreneurs, with children, and with families. Missionary Zach & Regan Pehrson DONATE Hello! Our names are Zach and Regan! We are full time missionaries with the Circuit Riders! We met in high school, and over three years later, we're now married! We both did the Discipleship Training School with Circuit Riders in 2023-2024. Zach has been on staff since then, and Regan has just recently joined after completing another one-year ministry school. Circuit Riders is a YWAM missions organization based in Huntington Beach. Our mission at Circuit Riders is to reach others with the good news of Jesus. We are eager to see a generation saved, empowered, and marked with the Gospel. Primarily, we at Circuit Riders travel across high school and college campuses, in our collective effort to find and reach these young people. We are big on evangelism as a ministry, especially in training others how to do so. Above all, we simply want to know Him, and to make Him known. Zach is one of the guitar players for Circuit Riders, and has helped out leading houses and tours. As we go into our first year on staff together , we will most likely be helping out in the tour circle, planning and leading one of our major tours. We both have a heart for reaching our generation, and are believing that God has us here in California to do just that. Missionary Evan Nielsen DONATE Evan Nielsen is an aspiring missionary who has always had a heart for Jesus! Although raised in a Christian household Evan’s true relationship with God didn’t begin until the summer of 2015 during a week of Bible Camp in northern Iowa. There the Holy Spirit filled his heart and stirred his spirit and Evan was never the same after that. From then on Evan has chased after God the Father, the Son, & the Spirit in all ways possible. The main track Evan took in this pursuit was joining Discipleship Training School (DTS) through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in October 2023 where he was taught discipleship as well as basic Christian values and beliefs that stand firm on scripture. Following DTS Evan joined a Discipleship Bible School (DBS) in early 2024 to deepen his understanding of the Word of God. Today Evan is continuing his journey with the Lord, embracing this gifts God has given him. Evan is working within YWAM as a staff member, to help steward the young and called into a deeper understanding of God and to cultivate relationship with the Heavenly Father. Evan desires to become a teacher within YWAM and has plans to attend their Bible Teachers School to become well equipped in instructing students in diving deeper into God’s word given to us. Missionary Claire Haudrich DONATE Hi, my name is Claire Haudrich! In an act of obedience to the Lord, I will be moving from small-town Ohio to South Island New Zealand in January 2024 to complete YWAM Queenstown's Discipleship Training School (DTS). I will be completing a 12 week lecture phase then heading off to a 10 week cross-cultural overseas outreach as a missionary. YWAM Queenstown aims to be a bridge connecting individuals, their community, and the nations to a loving God by training, equipping, and sending young people to fulfill the Great Comission, going and making disciples of all nations. The purpose of YWAM is to know God and make Him known. Knowing God and having in an intimate relationship with Him has been and always will be the most beatiful thing I've ever experienced. Ensuring that others get to know Him too is what sets my heart on fire. What a gift that the Lord allows us to partner with Him in the Comission! I'm excited to see the new ways I will grow with Him and in Him on this journey, and witness how He will touch the lives of others.
