Missionary Rebekah Walker DONATE In a sudden and wild turn of events, as of January 15th, I have moved to Huntington Beach, California to attend a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) Discipleship Training School that's run through a ministry called Circuit Riders. The purpose of Circuit Riders is to activate a generation into salvation, awakening, and multiplication. During my school, I will spend 11 weeks in Huntington Beach for a training phase where I will attend daily training sessions, prayer and worship mornings/nights, and weekly outreaches. This first phase costs $4000, which includes tuition and housing. In the second half of the school, I will go out on outreach to either Europe or Mexico to put into practice for 8 weeks everything I've learned. This phase costs an additional $4000, which includes flights to the outreach location, housing, and transportation for those 8 weeks. While I had to step down from my full-time position at Cosmos, I am still working part-time in the same role, waking up early to get hours in before the sessions to make enough money to cover my expenses for food and other necessities that are on top of the school costs. Coming to this school is an over-two-year-long desire, coming to fruition. It has been propelled by the leading of the Lord through specific words and dreams regarding this school. There are lots of reasons as to why I've always wanted to come, but the biggest reason that I am actually here is that I want to walk in obedience to God. This means most of the people here don't even know who Jesus is or what the good news of the Gospel truly means for them. We are planting a house church with some of our closest friends who also share this calling to Japan. God has given our group a heart for evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and friendship. This 3 month school is focused on developing passionate Christians’ love of Film and the people of the film industry. The rest of the year, when he is not working on the School of Digital Filmmaking, he and the other volunteers from the school pursue their calling and make connections to the local film industry through the Initiative Production Company. Missionary Maribel Lora DONATE I'm Maria Ynmaculada Lora (Maribel). I’m 47 years old. I'm married and have three children. I love Jesus and serving others. One of my dreams is to start a small business. I work as a caregiver for FIGHT Ministry. Fight is an organization whose goal is to help underage girls who are going through different situations, such as abuse, orphanhood, abandonment, and especially human trafficking etc. Its mission is to restore the lives of these girls through the Word of God and therapy. We look for them to be impacted here by the love of God, so that when they leave the program, they can be agents for change to those around them. As a caregiver, I pray, disciple, discipline and love on the girls so they can trade their sorrows for the joy of the Lord. We guide them to the true fount so they can be comforted by the Holy Spirit. I love doing this and seeing what God does through me in their lives.
