Hi friends! My name is Zac Thomas and I am a missionary based in Nashville, Tennessee!

I serve with a Ministry called Harvest Sound and Jesus Mission. We believe that Nashville is a sending city and will host one of the greatest Jesus movements of our generation. We host prayer rooms to contend for our city, nation, and the nations every Tuesday. We also have been hosting an inner city outreach every Thursday called Meal of Hope for the last 31 years, serving the homeless and inner-city a meal and the Gospel. Under Jesus Mission, we have three movements. First ,is Fireplace where every Friday we go out to the streets of Broadway to preach the Gospel.  Second would be The Merge which is a monthly young adults movement to gather for worship, teaching, ministry and the Gospel. The third is Wilco United which is a high school movement gathering 21+ high schools together once a month after rival football games to gather for worship, ministry, teaching, and the Gospel. Throughout all these initiatives, we have seen TENS OF THOUSANDS give their life to Jesus, be healed, set free, and delivered.  

Through being able to serve in all these, the Lord placed a burden for the college campuses of Nashville, TN on my heart. He called me to steward a dream for 4 years before pioneering this movement. In the spring semester of my sophomore year in college at Belmont University, I was able to launch and lead Altar Sessions.

The purpose of Altar Session is to empower the next generation to encounter the heart of God through worship, prayer and evangelism. When we first started, we gathered all the campuses of Nashville together in a coffee shop that was once a church. Students would come to encounter the presence of the Lord and corporately contend for their campus. In the fall of 2025, we are launching our on-campus mission. Hosted by our student representatives, we will gather on each campus once a month to usher in the presence of God so students and faculty all around would be forever changed by Him.
