My name is Wayne Patty, and I am a missionary from Montgomery, Alabama. About two years ago, while evangelizing on the streets of Havana, Cuba, the Lord called me into full-time ministry. In obedience to His call, I stepped away from my full-time job and stepped into full-time missionary work.

I am currently serving in Mexico, where I am involved in missionary work throughout different regions of the country. I believe the Lord has called me to remain here for at least a few more years. My present plan is to continue serving in Mexico for at least the next one to two years as I follow His leading.

A scripture that has continually encouraged me during this journey is Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This verse reminds me that the Lord is faithful to guide every step and that His plans are always filled with hope and purpose.
