Mia & Tiago | Full-Time Missionaries in Yokohama, Japan

Hello! We are Mia and Tiago, a newlywed missionary couple serving full-time in Yokohama, Japan. Our heart is to see the Japanese people encounter the love of Jesus, come to know the Gospel, and see the Great Commission fulfilled.

In June 2025, we got married, and during our honeymoon in East Asia, God placed a dream in our hearts to pack our bags and move to Japan as full-time missionaries. What began as a dream has become a calling we are honored to pursue together.

Our Ministry

Mia serves full-time with YWAM Yokohama in university ministry, the local church, evangelism, and more. Tiago is pursuing full-time language studies as he prepares to serve and connect with the people of Japan.

Together, we are involved in our local church, serve in a young adults ministry in Tokyo, and use the arts to influence and disciple the next generation.

Tiago has been playing guitar and piano since he was 16, while Mia has been singing since she could talk. We share a heart to cultivate a home filled with worship and prayer and to use the creative gifts God has given us to reach the spheres of society in fashion, music, and beauty.

Tiago is also a videographer and video editor, while Mia has experience serving in ministry during Milan and London Fashion Weeks. We believe creativity can be a beautiful expression of God's heart and a way to connect with people who may not yet know Him.

Our Dream

Our dream is to serve wholeheartedly in Japan, learn the culture and language, and use our gifts to make disciples and create beautiful art that reflects God's heart.

We want to see a generation in Japan encounter Jesus, discover their identity in Him, and be equipped to carry His love into every sphere of society.
