Hi, My name is Tariku Jones. I am from Ethiopia and when I was 12 I was adopted to the United States. 

For most of my life I have always been around Christianity and been around the church. But in 2022 I had encounter with the Lord that has changed me ever since. It was during a one week missions trip to Mexico when God showed His love for His people and His desire for all to know Him. He also revealed to me what it meant to be a true follower of Christ. How we must take up our cross daily and live a life of obedience to His word.

Ever since that moment, I felt God leading me to serve Him in full time missions. This past year I completed a discipleship training program through YWAM (Youth With A Mission) where I learned so much about God and about the missions field. 

Now I am going to be a full time staff member at the YWAM base in Mazatlan, Mexico. I will be serving there to help train, equip, and send believers to fulfill the great commission. In my time there, I also get to be a part of many different types of ministries like rehab ministries, kids ministries, homes of hope, hospital ministries, and others. 

YWAM is a non profit organization that does not pay missionaries a salary. All of us as full time staff trust God to provide to continue serving here. So I ask you to partner with me in prayer and also in financial support.
