Greetings Friends!
My wife Glenda and I have been married for forty years, and in ministry together for even longer than that! I have been associate pastor at two Churches, senior pastor at two Churches, and the two of us have spent years as Church planting missionaries. We live in the mountains of South Central Mexico. I have two master’s degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado.
For about the past two years, as of this writing, I have been the executive director of the Lakeside Institute of Theology, a graduate school licensed by the government of Mexico to offer both ThM (masters in theology) and M.Div. (master’s of divinity) degrees. As well, I have served as pastor of outreach and evangelism for our local Church.
Our senior pastor, Dr. Wayne Cook, approached my wife and I several months ago asking us to pray about planting a church in an area not far from us that is largely unchurched.
We prayed for a solid six months and the understanding of a need for a Church on the West side of Lake Chapala grew in all of us. Doors began to open. As a result, Wayne and I are now co-pastors of Common Grounds Fellowship. We already have outreach ministries in place in our immediate area, along with a feeding program to distribute food to those in need, while sharing the Gospel with them, as well as our ongoing ministry of supporting four local orphanages with food, gospel presentations, and discipleship.
We covet your prayers! And, as the Lord leads, ask you to consider being financial partners with us in this endeavor.
Grace and Peace,
Ted and Glenda
