Taiyler Friel is a full-time missionary for Youth With a Mission (YWAM) based in Kona, Hawaii.

YWAM is a global, interdenominational Christian movement, uniting people to know God and make Him known through evangelism, training, and mercy ministries.

Taiyler has had the opportunity to partner and learn from different ministries over the past years such as Circuit Riders, Fire and Fragrance, and IRIS global, shaping her heart and passion for global missions. These ministries, alongside her home church Garden Church and their pastors, have discipled her into being ready to serve well in all areas. The goal is to continue to learn, and teach others how to “Reorganize our lives and resources around the living missions director of Jesus Christ” -Pastor Darren, Garden Church.

In Hawaii, Taiyler is serving on staff with the Extreme Places Discipleship Training School (DTS). This school runs a 6- month training for hundreds of young leaders year-round. This includes 3 months of teachings, followed by 3 months of outreach into a specified nation.

Taiyler is currently building a team of investors who will give Monthly to help resource her in this kingdom work. In ‘26-‘27, she is aiming to raise $3,000/ Mo to sustain ministry responsibilities.
