We are so happy to connect with you and share a little more about us!

Currently, we are full-time in ministry with YWAM Monte das Águias (Brazil). We got married in December 2016. Danielle was born in Oregon and moved to Brazil with her family in 2014 to become a full-time missionary with YWAM. Thiago was born in Natal, Brazil, and has been a full-time missionary since 2011. Our oldest, Alana, was born in December 2019, and we adopted two brothers, Theo was born 2023 and Nikolas was born 2024. We are fully committed to making Jesus known in our generation, bringing the Kingdom of God, and training the next wave of missionaries.

We want to inspire and equip people to make Jesus known: As missionaries, we like to find creative ways to show Jesus' love to people through evangelism and serving the community around us. There are some areas that God has directed us to focus on specifically. We love to do evangelism in the cities and towns nearby and we lead teams of YWAM students, churches, and groups from other countries in outreach, helping other Christians by showing them how simple and fun it is to share the good news. Another thing that is in our hearts is to reach the deaf community and encourage people to communicate with them, so we are studying ASL (American Sign Language) and LIBRAS (Brazilian Sign Language) and helping other missionaries see the importance in reaching the deaf community. We also participate in regular activities on the YWAM base and enjoy supporting other ministries with their projects. Our goal is to live for the glory of God and to be guided to where He wants to take us. That's why we are continually encouraging friends and partners to help us fulfill God's will.

Be a partner: We can't do anything by ourselves; that is why all YWAM missionaries are called to practice a life of dependence upon God for financial provision. For individuals and YWAM corporately, this comes primarily through His people. As God has been generous toward us, so we desire to be generous. YWAMers give themselves, their time, and talents to God through the Mission with no expectation of remuneration.

In the mission field, more than financially, we need to have good, encouraging friends, prayer warriors, and an extended family that will be connected with us, blessing and being blessed by us through a healthy relationship.

We want to invite you to be a part of that.
