Hi friends! We’re The Millers, and we’ve been married for just over a year. From the very beginning of our marriage, we’ve had a passion to follow Jesus wherever He leads and to dedicate our lives to seeing others encounter Him.
Our journey together in missions began with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). After completing our Discipleship Training School (DTS), God opened the door for us to go on outreach to Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. Those months deeply marked our hearts. We had the privilege of sharing the Gospel, discipling young believers, and serving the local church. Living in a culture so different from our own stretched us, challenged us, and gave us a greater glimpse of God’s heart for the nations.
As we prayed about our next steps, we realized that in order to pour into others effectively, we needed to be deeply rooted in God’s Word ourselves. That’s why we’ve stepped into YWAM’s School of Biblical Studies (SBS)—a nine-month intensive program where we study the entire Bible, book by book. The goal isn’t just head knowledge, but transformation: learning how to handle Scripture rightly, apply it to our lives, and teach it to others.
We see this as an essential foundation for the ministry God is calling us into. Our heart is to disciple the next generation, to walk with people as they discover their identity in Christ, and to help equip leaders who can bring the Gospel into every sphere of society. The School of Biblical Studies is giving us tools we’ll carry into every future ministry context—whether that’s in Africa, the U.S., or wherever the Lord sends us next.
As full-time missionaries with YWAM, we don’t receive a salary. Our ability to serve and grow in this calling depends on God’s provision through the generosity of others who believe in what He’s doing through us.
