Stephen grew up in New Jersey as the fourth child in a family of five siblings. His entire life has been spent in New Jersey, except for a brief period in Ohio while pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree at Cedarville University. Jesus had blessed Stephen by revealing Himself to him at an early age, keeping God close throughout the years. Stephen's faith in Jesus had gradually matured as he grew older, and now his greatest desire is to follow Jesus in every aspect of life, glorifying Him, and spreading the message that true joy and love could be found in Jesus.

Over the past few years, God has blessed Stephen with a loving community that had provided endless joy and enriched his journey with Jesus. He couldn't express enough gratitude for the intimate relationships in his life and what they meant. Most of Stephen's time was spent with these people in various ways, including serving in Youth Ministry, attending Bible Study, or gathering in a friends backyard for singing and prayer. Sometimes they enjoyed activities like hiking, kayaking, volleyball, or any other fun endeavors they could find – the more, the merrier!
His recent hobbies included trail running and obstacle course racing, such as Spartan Race or Tough Mudder. Running in natural settings and conquering obstacle courses had become an enjoyable experience for Stephen. The thrill and sense of accomplishment from these races were incredible, and he highly recommended trying it with a group of friends. Always open to new hobbies, Stephen has recently taken up playing the guitar, rock climbing, and even pickleball – as he is always up for anything!
The idea of cross-cultural missions work had first crossed Stephen's mind about five years ago during Cedarville University's annual missions conference. He vividly remembered praying to God that day, saying, "God, I've never felt called to be a missionary, but if that is Your plan for my life, please continue to place that desire in my heart." Over time, that desire has grown, and now he is excited to take his first steps toward a life in cross-cultural missions.
The work of Stephen's mission team filled him with awe and admiration. Their mission was to deliver essential healthcare and the hope of Jesus Christ to isolated communities, a truly remarkable endeavor. However, none of this could be accomplished without ensuring the team's safe arrival in these remote areas. As a member of this mission, his specific role is to work as an engineer, assisting with technical matters aboard the ship. It is fascinating to see how God could use his engineering skills to play a key role in facilitating the arrival of medical professionals to these isolated communities.

In Jesus's life on earth, He had exemplified how to love people by caring for both their physical and spiritual needs. Stephen is excited to be part of a team that embraces this approach and loves people the way Jesus did.
