Hi friends:) My name is Sara Ledr, and Jesus is my first love.

Luke 7:38-39 is the beautiful story of a woman who washed Jesus’ feet with her tears and an alabaster jar of perfume worth a year’s wages. She knew her desperate need for Him and that He truly is worth it all.

After graduating from high school, this past year was my alabaster jar year– a time that I put at the Lord’s feet, asking Him to do what He wanted with it. I have gotten to see God move in tangible ways, and it has changed my life. I was mentored by women of God and took classes on recognizing His voice, which helped me grow in listening to His promptings. I practiced ministering to others through prayer, and I was honored to be a part of seeing people set free and healed. I have been growing in my worship leading skills. I also experienced missions for the first time in Mexico. Most of all I’ve been astounded by the goodness of God and have become hungry for more. I thought I was giving the Lord one year, but it’s becoming more and more clear that it’s going to be the rest of my life.

My heart is burning for my generation and the world to have a personal encounter with Jesus. This fall, I will be doing a 6-month discipleship program with Circuit Riders, a ministry under Youth with a Mission (YWAM). It truly has everything that’s in my heart right now – missions, worship, and deep community.

3 months in Huntington Beach, CA – I will be trained in evangelism and worship ministry while doing local outreach.

3 months on the road –I will be sent with a team for the Carry the Love Tour, which is a movement reaching hundreds of colleges and high schools around the globe. We will host outreach nights and bring the Gospel and the love of Jesus wherever we go.
