Hey! My name is Sterling Boyns and I’m an actor and missionary.

I was born in Oakland, CA and knew I wanted to be an actor since I was three years old.

I studied acting in college and after, pursued my craft in NYC and LA. Whilst doing that, I was also volunteering in my local church.

Three years ago, my life took a turn for the best when The Lord directed me toward missions and called me to the nations. He introduced me to YWAM Kona summer of 2023, where I volunteered and then did my first Discipleship Training School (DTS).

Now, I’m going to be staffing a new DTS in Kona called KINGDOM CREATIVES. It’s a school that will be equipping young artists, storytellers, and entertainers to know God deeply and carry His presence into the arts and entertainment world. Students will be learning how to hear God’s voice, walk confidently in their identities and more through the lens of creativity, a biblical worldview for influence, and are launched into missions or industry with spiritual depth, identity and purpose.

I’m building a team of monthly supporters who will partner with me in this kingdom work of leadership and making disciples for the entertainment industry.
