Hi, my name is Rosa Emilia Vásquez, I am 37 years old. I am married and have a beautiful 1-year-old son. I met Jesus 8 years ago.  The Bible is my life manual. I love worshiping the Lord and I love serving others. I always try to help others whenever I can.  

I love reading, cooking and making new dishes for the people I love. I enjoy nature (land, sea, sky, etc.). I love planting and caring for plants and I like natural medicine.

Fight is a refuge home, a Christian ministry whose main objective is to help and restore the hearts of girls rescued from human trafficking. Our girls have suffered many traumas, and through our program, we seek to help these girls come to know Jesus and heal their wounds. Upon leaving our shelter, they are ready to make the right decisions and be reintegrated to society.

At Fight, I work as I caregiver. My mission is to help the girls learn to love themselves, to care for themselves, and, above all, to know the love of Jesus through my actions. I contribute my knowledge of psychology, my skills, and my abilities. I also try to help our director and my coworkers in whatever way they need.

The support of our brothers and sisters in Christ is vital for us to be able to carry out the mission God’s placed in our hands. Praying as the Body of Christ is a blessing because there is strength in unity, and the Word itself commands us to pray for one another. Likewise, your generous contributions help us to keep going!
