Hello! My name is Bekah and I am excited to announce I will be heading to Manila, Philippines to serve with Wipe Every Tear in the fight against human trafficking.

I went with Wipe Every Tear for the first time in 2016 and then again recently in May of 2023 (vision trip to go long-term). The vision and leadership at River Valley Church, where I attend, has opened my eyes and heart like never before to the mission field. 42% of the world is considered 'unreached' with very little or no access to a local Christian Church or Bible. Many a part of this group have never heard the name of their Savior - Jesus! I feel specifically called to serve in Southeast Asia in the Philippines. Wipe Every Tear has been there since 2013 and has hired a thriving Philippina staff that manage the safe house ministry as well as the Tayo Collective livelihood program.

While I am in the Philippines, I will be shadowing and learning from our Tayo director about jewelry and product production and training, 2024 marketing strategies, advancing in business sponsorships, and jewelry making with girls in our care. I will be helping host American teams that come over on missions trips. I will also do street ministry through food preparation and distribution as well as prayer walks and inviting women into our care.

Jesus' great commission of going and making disciples of all nations was never meant to be done alone. I am so excited to see who God will provide as both prayer and financial supporters in this ministry. This is God's vision and dream and we get to say YES to be a part of it!

A team of prayer partners is crucial as we are invading evil territory that has been there for decades. James 5:16 The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. A team of financial partners is also needed as Wipe Every Tear is a Christian non-profit that does not pay missionaries but rather fund the essentials of the ministry: safe house expenses, girls' education/family expenses, Philippina staff income etc.
