Hi! My name is Rachel McGovern, I’m 21 years old and from Alaska :) I’m currently a part of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) whose vision is to know God and to make God known. I’m enrolled to start a 3 month Bible school in April with YWAM Amsterdam, followed by an outreach to the nations.

My calling from the Lord is to see my generation fall in love with Jesus and be marked as a generation of joy and boldness not addiction and fear. To help steward this vision, God has called me into a season of studying and immersing myself in his Word. During my time in Amsterdam I’ll also be asking God for direction on what’s next.

God has been so faithful to provide for me as I’ve been taking these steps of faith into ministry. I’ve been so encouraged by the generosity of the body of Christ, which enabled me to do a training school with YWAM Kona and to go spread the gospel in South Africa last year. Now I’m trusting God for this next season of ministry for provision. Donations are amazing and help make this possible, but more-so I ask for the covering of prayer- “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world” Ephesians 6:12.
