Hi! I'm Praise Sooni Van Lal Lawn Kimi, a missionary from Myanmar currently based in England :)

In 2023, everything changed when I encountered a gut-level revelation of what it truly means to have a relationship with Jesus. From that encounter, I prayed a life-altering prayer: “I will make it my mission to ensure young people don’t waste their years on empty religion, but live every moment in pursuit of the real Jesus.” Since then, I’ve committed my life to living out this mission.

I serve with Neighbours and Nations (N&N), a touring ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Harpenden. We send teams of young missionaries to partner with local churches across the UK and Europe. Our heart is to empower young people to live fully surrendered lives for God, boldly making Him known in their schools, universities, workplaces, communities, and beyond.

God has opened incredible doors here in the UK and Ireland—more than I could have imagined. I’ve seen hearts turn to Jesus, communities transformed, and young people stepping into radical obedience. Praise Jesus for that! But, behind all the beauty, there is a real reality. As a YWAM missionary, I don’t receive a salary. I trust God’s provision month to month—for rent, food, travel, and everything in between.

That’s why I need YOU to stand with me—in prayer and financial support. I want to keep saying “yes” to everything God is doing, and your partnership makes that possible. Any monthly support—whether small or large—is a true blessing and a vital part of this mission.
