I am Osana Silva, originally from Brazil and have been serving with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Harpenden, for the past 8 years. I am thankful for being able to join in with YWAM Harpenden’s vision to be a multiplier for the Kingdom of God, discipling and equipping waves of young people who live like Jesus and transform communities and nations in every area of society.

I Felt God calling me into full time mission in 2015 and moved to England embracing his calling in 2017, initially leaning English and working in the kitchen and hospitality. I did my Discipleship Training School in 2018 and since then I have been serving full time with YWAM Harpenden.

In the past eight years I have seen hundreds of young people coming and going back into the nations. I have travelled to other nations on outreach trips, I have served the local community in the town where I live in different capacities, toddler groups, food bank, church events and many more.                    

My main ministry is in helping train up other missionaries, helping Christians learn how to better study and understand God's Word [for themselves and for their own ministries], and in hospitality - serving both Christians and non-Christians in the most basic ways.

I staff our Discipleship Training School (DTS), Bible Core Course (BCC), and Introduction to Christian Formation and Discipleship (ICFD), as well as help in our Community Garden and Cafe Ministries, and recently serving with the Kinahan Lodge Ministry.
