Hello friends!

My name is Owen Ingraham, and I serve as one of the two Children's Pastors and the Assistant Youth Pastor at Re:Hope Church West End in Glasgow, Scotland. God has given me a deep passion for seeing the next generation come to know Jesus personally and build a faith that lasts a lifetime. I have been serving at Re for around five years, and it has been a privilege to watch God transform the lives of children and teenagers as they grow in their relationship with Him.

My ministry is centred on helping young people not only learn about Jesus but also experience Him for themselves. I help lead our children's ministry during our Sunday services and our youth ministry throughout the week, where we teach God's Word, worship together, build meaningful relationships, and create opportunities for young people to encounter God through prayer. One area I am especially passionate about is helping children and teenagers become confident in prayer. Since joining the staff team, I have introduced dedicated prayer ministry into our youth gatherings because I believe that learning to hear from God and pray with confidence at a young age lays a strong foundation for a lifelong walk with Christ. We are also expanding Scripture memorisation within our children's ministry to help God's Word take root in young hearts.

One of the greatest joys of serving in this ministry is seeing God work in the lives of the young people we serve. During our recent youth summer camp, one teenager shared that although he had followed Jesus for years, he had never felt he had heard God's voice. After a difficult season, he came back to our youth Bible Read-Through group full of joy, sharing how he believed God had spoken to him and brought him comfort. Moments like these remind me why I believe so deeply in investing in the next generation. There is nothing more encouraging than seeing young people grow in confidence, discover God's presence, and begin to live out their faith for themselves.
