You are part of my testimony.  You have been on the journey with me.  I would love to invite you on the next part of this adventure the Lord is taking me on.  This Fall 2023, God has opened the doors for an incredible opportunity to go to the Himalayas.  From October 5-15th, I will be joining a team through YWAM (Youth With a Mission) to the Himalayas in Nepal, where we will be trekking Bibles into remote villages and sharing the Good News of Jesus.

As you know, over the past two years, fitness has become a very important part of my life. Training for CrossFit has deeply impacted me physically, mentally, and spiritually.  CrossFit has taught me grit, determination, and what it looks like to be a strong woman in so many aspects of my life.  But what if I could use my fitness for something bigger than myself, something deep and powerful, something that truly impacts lives for the Kingdom?  YWAM, which is a global organization that reaches the nations for Jesus, has a fitness ministry called Respect the Corners where their sole purpose is to train individuals to use their fitness to reach people for the Gospel. Their main base is in Kona, Hawaii, where they have a CrossFit gym and students come every year to be trained in discipleship and prepare physically in order to trek into the uttermost parts of the earth to bring the Gospel to ears who have yet to hear the name of Jesus.  When I heard this ministry made multiple treks per year into the Himalayas, my heart longed to go, and here we are.

The preparation for this trip is intense.  Each member will spend significant time in the Word to prepare our hearts. We will be preparing physically with strenuous workouts. We will be hiking with heavy packs for multiple miles every day at high altitude. This is a gritty mission that will test every aspect of our mental, spiritual, and physical strength. This adventure is with one goal in mind – to bring the name of Jesus, and Bibles in their mother tongue, to remote villages and to residents who likely have NEVER heard the name of Jesus. Think about that – hiking miles and miles to possibly reach even one soul so they can know the One who knows them by name, loves them, and died for them.  THIS IS THE HEART OF JESUS.  His heart burns for the Nepali people.  His heart burns for you and for me. As I walk closer with the Holy Spirit, I am understanding what surrendering my life to Jesus looks like. It has been difficult, beautiful, vulnerable, and powerful all at the same time. I truly feel marked by Jesus.

Thank you with all my heart for supporting me on these mission trips over the past year.  Thank you for supporting me with prayer, with wisdom and encouragement, and financially.  Thank you for playing such a pivotal role in my life.

Today, I am humbly asking if you would prayerfully consider partnering with me for my upcoming trip to Nepal.  Whether that is partnering with me in prayer or financially, I would be so thankful.  I need to raise between $4,000 -- $5,000 for this trip, with initial funds needed quickly to purchase an airline ticket.  If the Holy Spirit leads you to give financially, you can give donations here.

Thank you for being on the journey with me.
