Hello friends!

My name is Mia Wagner and I am so excited to share with you all that I am about to step into full time missions with a wonderful organization called YWAM! Not only do I get to partner with them, but I get the amazing opportunity to be part of pioneering a brand new YWAM base here in Bozeman Montana where I’m from!

YWAM, or Youth With A Mission, is a global Christian organization dedicated to training and sending young people to serve others through various mission projects around the world. Founded in 1960 by Loren Cunningham, YWAM aims to evangelize, disciple, and bring hope to communities in need. YWAM’s main mission statement is this- “Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world.”

Their work encompasses outreach, humanitarian aid, mercy ministries, and spiritual growth, all rooted in a foundation of faith and a desire to make a positive impact for Christ Jesus. YWAM emphasizes short-term and long-term missions, leadership development, and community transformation, inspiring thousands of youth and adults to live out their faith actively and purposefully across diverse cultures and nations.

Towards the end of my junior year of high school my relationship with the Lord started to grow bigger than I thought possible. He started to ignite a fire to see revival and for worship which has only grown stronger. I want that fire inside of me to reach as far and wide as the Lord desires. I always had a passion to do YWAM and through ups and downs and changes of life, the Lord still brought me back here, which I will always be thankful for. I always struggled with thinking He was so far away but I soon got to realize that He is the best relationship I will ever have. I realized that He has been beside me my whole life and that He is my best friend, my Father, my one true love, and so much more and He has made my life better than I ever could have imagined myself. I have seen the power of restoration time and time again through His love and grace and I want the whole world to know that there is so much more behind the name Jesus than what the world makes it seem. I want people to know that their life on earth can be so beautiful, restored and full of joy!

What I will be doing:

Starting September 21, 2025, we will be doing our own DTS (Discipleship Training School). Throughout our 5.5 months of DTS we will have 3 months of training and 2.5 months of outreach. In our training phase we will be attending the YWAM base in Colorado Springs for 6 weeks as part of our “lecture phase” where we will be diving into scripture, community, evangelism to the city, and continually learning how to shine the light of Jesus wherever we go in any situations we’re placed in. We will also spend 1.5 months of our training in Bozeman Montana which will consist of reaching the city with prayer, worship nights, evangelism, and mobilization. This is the preparation for a life of reaching the unreached. Our training will end December 12, 2025. After that we will be jumping into our outreach portion! We will spend 1 month in Bozeman, 1 month in São Paulo, Brazil, and ending with 1 week in Lima, Peru. While we’re in Brazil we have ministry with over 30,000 high school students doing evangelism, prayer nights, worship nights, mobilization, and so much more. We will arrive back to Montana the first week of March. That will conclude our DTS.

But that’s not the end!!

Towards the end of March our team will be joining a 3 month Bible school. We find that scripture is the overall tool in ministry and in life because it is the word of God and nothing will ever shake that. We want to be as prepared and as scripturally knowledgeable as possible for launching our YWAM base in Montana. We want to be the leaders that God has called us to be and to be able to do so, we need to know what He says!

After those 3 months we will be jumping full steam ahead into preparation for launching YWAM YELLOWSTONE 2026! Those months will consist of planning content, beginning scheduled worship and evangelism nights, community outreach, finding/building a location for our school , endless prayer, and lots of promotion! Then beginning fall of 2026 is the start to YWAM YELLOWSTONE. Once we start we will have our own traditional DTS that will be 3 months of training and 3 months of outreach. As each year goes on we will add more branches of our school, more opportunities for outreach, and more space for students Lord willing! Throughout the school I will be getting to lead worship, disciple the new students, lots of behind the scenes work, serving in whatever ways I can, and being able to learn and walk alongside our team, leaders, and all the students that will be joining!

I could not be more excited to see everything the Lord is about to do. I truly believe this is just the beginning to a base that will harbor and launch generations of believers into the world to shine the light of Jesus and watch hundreds of thousands of lives be transformed for the kingdom of God.

I would love to ask you to walk alongside me and this journey that Jesus has so graciously placed before my feet and ask for your support throughout it all, emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

Throughout these next few years of missions, and more years if that’s where the Lord keeps calling me, I will not be working because of the full time dedication that this will take!

Therefore I need to raise $1,750 per month which will cover housing/rent, food and groceries, transportation (car and flights), generosity (tithes, blessing others, etc), cost of DTS schooling, self-care, and more. So I would like to ask you to partner with me! If you feel led to spirituality give such as support through your prayers, then I thank you so much and know that each prayer makes a difference!
