My name is Maryke, I’m 27 years old and I'm from South Africa.

I recently completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM, where God took me on a life-changing journey of growing deeper in my relationship with Jesus and discovering His heart for the nations.

During my outreach I had the opportunity to share the Gospel, pray for people, serve communities, and build meaningful relationships. During my DTS, the Lord placed a burning desire in my heart to go deeper into His Word—to know Scripture more and, through it, to know Him more.

That’s why I’ve decided to take my next step and do the Fire & Fragrance Bible Experience (FFBX). From 8 September to 4 December, we’ll journey through all 66 books of the Bible, discovering God’s story from Genesis to Revelation. My desire is to become more equipped in Scripture and discipleship so that I can serve Jesus and make Him known wherever He leads me.

To take part in this 3-month journey, I need to raise a maximum amount of $2,300, which will cover my tuition, accommodation, and food throughout the programme. I’m trusting God to provide through the people He places around me.
