Hello! I’m Michael Smith. I’m from Washington State in the USA. At the beginning of 2023 I gave my life to full-time missions.

I’ve been working in Tanzania, Malawi, and Mozambique; and I’ve visited Brazil and South Africa this year too. I am a missionary sent by Peninsula Life Church in Gig Harbor, and I partner with the Pentecostal Evangelical Fellowship of Africa.

God has called me to raise up national missionaries to make disciples amongst unreached people groups (UPGs) in East Africa and across the 10/40 Window.

I am currently learning Swahili and Portuguese, and I also want to be fluent in Spanish so that I can host missionary teams from the West! I want to be a catalyst to the gospel work already happening in Africa and to mobilize missionaries from East Africa to the 10/40 window.
