Hi Family!!!

My name is Mildred Salguero, and I’m from Philadelphia. God has recently called me to serve as a long-term missionary in South Africa, and I am so excited to step into this next chapter of faith.

When I was 21, I had a life-changing encounter with the Lord where He revealed His true self to me. My spirit had been longing for something that could truly transform me, and when Jesus encountered me, I received not only transformation but so much more. I will forever be marked by that moment, and now my deepest desire is for others to experience the same— to know Jesus. I am passionate about seeing every person encounter the power of the Gospel.

In July 2023, I completed my 6-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Fire and Fragrance South Africa. During that time, God ignited a deep passion in my heart for the unreached—those who have never heard the Good News of Jesus. As part of my DTS, I spent over a month serving in West Africa, where I witnessed firsthand the deep longing people have for something that can make them whole. It was an incredible privilege to share the Good News with many, and I saw lives touched by the hope of the Gospel.

The harvest is ready, and we are in need of laborers to be sent into the field! How will they know unless we go?

Starting in February 2025, the Lord is leading me to deepen my understanding of His Word through a School of Biblical Studies (SBS). Over the course of the year, I will immerse myself in Scripture and continue growing in my relationship with Him. Afterward, I plan to serve long-term in missions, focusing on reaching the unreached people groups.

I am stepping out in faith to serve the Lord full-time, and I would be incredibly honored if you would pray & consider partnering with me on this journey—whether through prayer or financial support.
