My name is Marcus R and I will be serving with YWAM as a full time missionary in Muizenberg, Cape Town. Our ministry is focused on students who've completed their DTS (Discipleship Training School) who want to get to know God in a deeper way by choosing a school that trains them to make an impact in the sphere God is calling them to. The School of Biblical Studies is a nine-month course in which you get to see the bigger picture of God's word, understanding the overview of the whole Bible, and how it is one story. By the end of the course, they will have a more biblically grounded worldview and a better personal understanding of Scripture.

My fiancé Anika and I are looking forward to getting married September 28th, 2024 and we plan on staffing the SBS here in Muizenberg for two years after our marriage.

Our prayer request is for God's abundant grace and favor to rest on Anika and I as we navigate through life. That we will not be overwhelmed by all the things that we need from visas, accommodations, and especially finances, that at times seems impossible. But praise God, by faith, all things are possible to those that believe and trust in God's faithfulness.
