Hey! My name is Michelle Housein and I am from California.
I am twenty five years old and last year I lived in Hawaii and joined Youth with a Mission (YWAM). I finished my Discipleship Training School (DTS) called Fire and Fragrance. The heart of that program is to send out young people with burning hearts to carry out the love of Jesus on the mission field. I went to Germany on my outreach and my team and I partnered with Elijah 21, a ministry that works with refugees. There we had the opportunity to help them spread the name of Jesus and share the gospel. We hosted many bible studies with people who had never heard of Jesus or had rejected the idea altogether. We were able to share our joy and love and made so many friends that heard the Lord through our bible studies.
I was able to hear Gods voice over my life and encounter the Holy Spirit. I was able to hear the Lord tell me that counseling was a gift God wanted me to pursue. I have always loved being there for people and serving them the best I can. And the Lord is clearly making ways that I need to develop and enhance my knowledge for counseling in a Christian setting. I am starting school at Global University and starting their undergrad certificate and will be going back to Kona Hawaii this fall. I will be attending Foundations For Counseling Ministry which will bring restoration, healing and wholeness to not only myself but others around me. The next three months will be a classroom experience that utilizes teaching, discussions, small group sharing, ministry practice, and personal reflection. We will be able to develop and apply our skills in the community.
I would be honored if you prayerfully consider partnering with me and giving to Gods call on my life.
2 Corinthians 7:9
“You must each decide in your heart how much you give.
And don’t give reluctantly or I response to pressure.
For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.
And God will generously provide all you need.
Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”
Thank You,
Michelle Housein
