Hello! My name is Max Bryan, and I am stepping into this next season as a full-time missionary with Fire & Fragrance, staffing a Bible school called Missio Dei (meaning “the Mission of God”)—a school I had the privilege of attending last year.

This past season has been life-changing. I recently returned from a Discipleship Training School (DTS), where I had the opportunity to be lead out a two month mission trip to South Africa. During that time, I saw God move in incredible ways through healings, salvations, and lives being transformed by the love of Jesus. Not only did I grow deeper in my personal relationship with God, but I also had the honor of leading a team—getting to watch others step into their faith and grow spiritually was one of the most impactful parts of the journey.

Through Missio Dei and DTS, I’ve come to understand more clearly God’s heart for the nations and His invitation for us to be part of His mission. This next season, I get to pour into students the same way I was poured into—discipling, mentoring, and helping lead them into deeper relationship with Jesus and a lifestyle of sharing the gospel. With a potential opportunity to go on a short one to two week missions trip to Central Asia, looking to hopefully create relation and eventually plant a Missio Dei Bible school there!

As I step into staffing, I will be serving as a full-time volunteer missionary. Because of this, I am looking to raise monthly support to cover living expenses such as housing, food, transportation, and ministry-related costs.

I truly believe that answering the call of Jesus to “go” is something we are all invited into, and I am so grateful to be able to say yes in this way.
