Have you ever considered God’s radical heart for the unreached? Because it’s pretty crazy when you think about it. Every place where Jesus stepped, the Bible says He was moved with compassion, a deep gut desire to see the earth restored back into rightful relationship with the Father. And get this, in His final words to his closest friends Jesus passes the torch to them! A group of young men who were just as broken and flawed as us today. Jesus says “Go… make disciples… baptizing them… and teaching them.”
My name is Mason Brower and I have been tasked with that same radical heart of Christ for the Himalayan region. I am currently working with FF (Fire and Fragrance) Himalayas to staff a DTS (Discipleship Training School), carrying that same commission of Christ not just to our own, but to every tribe and tongue. FF is an expression of YWAM (Youth With A Mission) dedicated to cultivating a culture of zealous and unapologetically gospel driven people prioritizing the presence of God in every action we take. We believe that Jesus didn’t leave us with an unattainable task, but rather the Great commission can and will be fulfilled by those willing to abide in Him and allow Him to abide in them, regardless of age or past or status.
AND HERE’S THE BEST PART! This “mission” that I am on is by no means my own. Sure I am working in the Himalayas, but it is the global church that God has set up as his agent of restoration among the nations. God wants to use broken and misshapen people like me and you to build the kingdom of God upon and through. Am I hands-on in the field work? Yes, but you are equally as influential in your giving through prayer. There is no world where I could be doing what I am doing without the body of believers coming beside me both financially and spiritually.
So if the Lord is moving in your heart for the unreached in the Himalayan region, or you simply want to see the Great Commission fulfilled as desperately as I do, you should think about becoming a monthly donor. If that’s not in the cards, no sweat, you can easily give a one time donation as well.
All of that to say the most important thing you can do is PRAY. For me, for the Himalayas, and PRAY THAT GOD WOULD SEND LABORERS INTO THE FIELD!
