"Take up your cross and follow Me."

At the beginning of 2024, God radically interrupted my life. I had just moved from South Africa to Nashville to pursue music. Everything was taking off — I had 12 singles ready to release and a growing social media platform. But in the middle of that momentum, God asked me, “Do you want to know Me, or do you want to be known?” That night, I got on my knees and surrendered everything.

Jesus completely transformed me — He set me free from pride, insecurity, depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder. I’ve seen firsthand: He is the answer to everything.

Not long after, I left Nashville to do a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I spent every day in pursuit of Jesus, refusing to settle until I encountered His love. He met me powerfully, and I finally understood why people fall on their faces in worship. My outreach led me to Mongolia, one of the most unreached nations in the world — and it changed my life. Jesus said, “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for My sake will find it.”

I found it.

Where I Am Now

After DTS, God invited me deeper into His Word and into a long-term commitment to missions. I'm now in Montana doing a 9-month School of Biblical Studies (SBS), where we study the Bible 5 times in 5 different ways about 60+ hours of study a week. It’s intense, but so life-giving. I want to be rooted in Scripture so that I can be a healthy, wise, and equipped missionary.

This is a season of preparation. I’ve seen many burn out emotionally or physically on the field, and I believe God is building a strong foundation in me now to sustain the calling He’s placed on my life.

What’s Next

After SBS ends in July, I will be joining staff with YWAM. I’ll be discipling students and leading teams overseas to the unreached. God has called me to the nations — to the places where His name has never been heard — and I’ve given Him my full “YES.”

But I can’t do this alone. Missions is not a solo assignment, it’s the Church’s mission. Some are called to go, and some are called to send.

Would You Pray About Partnering With Me?

I’m building a team of 50 monthly supporters to help send me to the nations through prayer and finances. My goal is to raise $2500/month, which will go toward:

• Tithes & Generosity

• Housing & Rent

• Food & Basic Needs

• Transportation (car, flights)

• Self-care

• Savings

If 25 people gave $100/month or 50 people gave $50/month, I’d be fully funded.

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’”

— 2 Corinthians 9:7

I’m so excited to share more about where God is leading me next and what He’s doing among the nations. Please reach out if you'd like to hear more or set up a call — I would love to personally share more with you.

“But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus — the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”

— Acts 20:24

All my love,

Lene
