Hello Everyone! My name is Kassidy McKeever and I am a missionary with YWAM Montana.

In the last year I attended a DTS (Discipleship Training School) where I got to learn about and connect with God on a deeper level and then be sent out to Amsterdam. There I saw God’s heart for all types of people and GAINED more of a heart for the world. I had the opportunity to pray over people, worship in town squares, give parts of my testimony, and partner with local homeless ministries—all to share about who Jesus is and what He has done for us.

After this experience, I truly feel the Lord’s call to continue being a light to all people on the mission field with a direct emphasis on Bible engagement. What is Bible engagement? It is the process of learning how to read God’s Word and be transformed by it. God’s Word is perfect and 100% true. So when we read the Bible, there will be parts that directly come against us, human beings, who are naturally sinful. The Bible is not only the key to salvation and true connection with our King, but it is an instruction manual on how to live a life pleasing to the Lord and overflowing with abundant fruits of the Spirit.

This leads me to the next step that the Lord has asked me to take: SBS (School Of Biblical Study). While I was in Amsterdam in January, the Lord lit my heart on fire for Bible engagement. Now, in order to teach others more effectively, I have to start with learning how to be transformed by God’s Word in a deeper way. SBS is a 9 month school where I will learn to do just that. I will go through the Bible a total of 5 times looking into context and historical background, while making space for the Lord to bring revelation and transformation in my life.

This is an opportunity I am so excited for and I feel deeply honored to be accepted. I believe this school is part of the Lord’s will for me: to equip me to reach His people for His glory. The school is $11,700. This cost will cover housing, food, books, and other expenses over the course of 9 months.
