Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of building relationships and providing support in some of the world’s most challenging environments—war-torn Ukraine, the red-light districts and slums of Thailand, and during a community crisis in Penang, Malaysia. Through these travels, I have been teaching about trauma and EMDR Therapy, while also offering direct services to soldiers, refugees, sex workers, and those affected by crises such as suicide and the Bangkok earthquake.
Additionally, I collaborate with several non-profit organizations, providing EMDR Therapy to care workers and those impacted by trauma. I truly believe I have been called to serve in this way, as I am blessed with gifts that continue to open doors for this work.
In light of this, I would like to invite you to partner with me as I prepare for upcoming trips to Ukraine once again, and to Nepal this October—destinations where many have endured trauma, displacement, and profound loss.
Since I have been funding these trips primarily from my savings, I am seeking your support—financial, emotional, and prayer—to sustain this mission.
Your contributions will help cover airfare and in-country expenses. I have partnered with EquipNet (details below) to receive donations, and they will provide an official receipt for your tax purposes.
I will keep you updated with a travel schedule, reports on the services provided, and photographs of the impact your support is making. You’ll see firsthand how your generosity helps individuals, families, and communities rebuild their lives amidst adversity.
Lastly, new opportunities have also opened in Myanmar and the Philippines, and I hope you will consider joining me on these journeys. Your support—whether through donation, prayer, or encouragement—is deeply appreciated.
Thank you so much for your partnership and kindness.
Warm regards,
Kim
