Hey! I’m Kira Hietala.

I’m currently pursuing full time missions with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) here in Kailua-Kona, Hawai

YWAM is a nonprofit missions organization designed to send you out in to the mission field, save the lost, and see the love of God poured out in to every tribe, tongue, and nation.

I did my DTS (discipleship training school) in Kona, Hawaii. Three months of training and three months on outreach. For my outreach I went to Norway and Sweden. My DTS experience was absolutely life changing and it’s where I fell in love with missions.

Since finishing my DTS, I’ve had the opportunity of serving at iron man, volunteering at local high school football games and serving the homeless. I even had the opportunity to go to Oahu where we stayed and served at a farm retreat and partnered with a local church. We traveled all over Oahu where we evangelized at a university, in the streets, beaches, and malls.
