Karissa Cherry, originally from east Tennessee, is currently serving as the Executive Assistant at the world’s largest YWAM base, YWAM Kona -supporting global and local initiatives through administration, communications, and pastoral care.


She also serves on the Operations Team for Respect The Corners (RTC), a functional fitness ministry that connects with the athletic community while sharing the Gospel with unreached groups, particularly in the Himalayas.


In addition to her work with RTC, Karissa is involved with TheHopeLine.com, an online crisis-prevention chat service providing free mental health support to individuals worldwide. TheHopeLine assists those facing suicidal ideation, domestic abuse, and other challenges.


As a full-time missionary, Karissa relies on the generosity of others to continue her mission.
