We are law enforcement chaplains in Mason and Riverside Counties, serving multiple agencies, including the Washington State Patrol, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, and CenCom (the 911 dispatch center) in Washington in the summer, and Riverside Sheriff’s Office in Southern California in the winter. Ken was ordained while serving with Campus Crusade International Ministries.
We endeavor to have a positive influence on our troopers and deputies by regular visits to their offices and areas of service, ride alongs, department ceremonies, and just hanging out with them at special events. Our goal is to get to know them when everything is good, so that they will be comfortable talking to us when they have bad days. We want them to know that we are available 24/7 to come alongside and support them in any way we can. Also, we are often called to critical incidents to provide compassion, comfort, and care for all involved, including not only our officers, but victims and their families. We have had extensive training in Critical Incident Stress Management, Crisis Intervention, as well as Suicide Prevention, Intervention, and Post-intervention.
We are not paid by the departments we serve, but are completely supported by local churches and individuals like you. We are truly “ local missionaries” and our ability to minister depends entirely on your prayers and support.
We love our first responders and care for them deeply. They take care of you - we take care of them.
Chaplains, Ken & Bobbi
