Hi! My name is Joey White and I am a missionary with Youth With A Mission.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is an international movement of Christians from many denominations dedicated to presenting Jesus personally to this and future generations, to mobilizing as many as possible to help in this task, and to the training and equipping of believers for their part in fulfilling the Great Commission. As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to love, worship, and obey our Lord, to love and serve His body, the Church, and to love all peoples everywhere, which includes presenting the whole Gospel for the whole person throughout the whole world.

I started my journey with YWAM Kona in 2023 where I attended a Discipleship Training School with Fire and Fragrance. The first 3 months of this school I was equipped with the Gospel and trained to go preach the Word wherever my feet landed. I was able to put this into practice for another 3 months in South Africa with a team of 10. I saw God move in ways I have never seen before and developed a hunger for the Lord and His call for missions over my life. This hunger led me to the School of Biblical Studies.

I attended the 2024-2025 School of Biblical Studies for 9 months where the Lord invited me into a deeper place of intimacy and knowledge of Him through the scriptures. We read through the Bible 5 times in this time span and spent about 40+ hours a week in the scriptures, lectures, and homework. Through this school, I fell more in love with God and more in love with His word. This overflow of love led to the Lord calling me to take the next step and staff the upcoming School of Biblical Studies.

Staffing this school will look like supporting the students, coaching them through the method, participating in the lectures and in small groups, mentoring students, working with a team of staff, and being available at whatever hour a student may need me. There will also be opportunity for me to teach books in this school and sit with the Lord on His heart behind the scriptures in a more in depth way. I am so excited to begin this journey with God in September of 2025 and see how He grows me.

With this continual journey in YWAM as a missionary, I am praying for monthly financial partners to help support me in the job the Lord has called me to do. I have a need of about $1,000 a month to help cover rent, gas, groceries, and basic living expenses.
