Helloooo family!

My name is Jayla, and I’ve been transformed by the love of God.

Before this season, I sensed God leading me toward missions with a growing passion for teaching, discipleship (helping people follow Jesus and live like Him), and worship. That passion deepened through one-on-one discipleship, studying Scripture together, and seeing God transform lives through His Word.

During DTS, as well as serving in Cyprus and walking with people from places like Uzbekistan, I saw how global and personal God’s love is, and how He is actively moving among the nations.

A passage that has shaped this season for me is Ephesians 3:18–19, which speaks about knowing the vast, overflowing love of Christ that surpasses knowledge.

This fall, I will attend the School of Biblical Studies (SBS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), a nine-month program. In this next season, I want to grow in discipleship and teaching while continuing to serve within a missions community that equips and sends believers worldwide.

My long-term goal is to live and serve abroad, discipling others and sharing the love of God among the nations.
