My name is Josiah Townsend, and I have a strong personal faith in Jesus Christ.

I grew up in a Christian home, but as I grew older, my faith became my own. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and began seeking His direction for my life. I feel called to serve God through missions, hospitality, and practical acts of service.

I am currently serving at the Youth With A Mission base in Hurlach, Germany. When I learned that the base needed someone to help run the kitchen, I felt that God was opening the door for me to serve there. After arriving, I discovered that the staff had been praying for someone to fill this need, which was a powerful confirmation of God’s leading. My ministry includes managing the kitchen, preparing meals for the community, and helping develop and rebuild the base’s garden. Through this work, I help provide a welcoming and nourishing environment for missionaries, staff, students, and visitors. By meeting these practical needs, I support others as they train, grow in their faith, and carry out the ministry God has given them.

I invite others to partner with me through prayer and financial support. Your prayers will help strengthen and encourage me as I serve, grow spiritually, and take on greater responsibility. Financial support will help cover my living and ministry expenses, allowing me to continue serving faithfully in Germany. Together, we can support the work God is doing through YWAM Hurlach and help equip others to know God and make Him known.
