My name is Jennifer Thebe from Zimbabwe. I have been serving as a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for over 25 years. During this time, I have served in different nations around the world, focusing mainly on healthcare ministry and discipleship.

Even while serving in other nations, my heart remained burdened for the healthcare needs in my own country, Zimbabwe.

I am currently working in one of the rural areas of Zimbabwe called Nkayi, where access to healthcare is very limited. Every month we travel to the villages to provide basic healthcare services and treat minor illnesses for people who cannot easily reach medical facilities.

We have partnered with doctors here in Zimbabwe who join us every six months to help treat more complex medical conditions. Through these medical outreaches, many people receive care, encouragement, and hope.

Alongside healthcare ministry, I am also passionate about discipling young people, especially those from the villages, so they can carry the vision forward and bring transformation to their own communities. From September 2024 to 2025, I led the first Discipleship Training School (DTS), focusing on helping young people grow in their relationship with God and develop godly character.

This year, I am running another DTS, and we are especially excited to train and equip young people from the villages so they can become leaders and agents of change in their communities.

Financial support helps us continue reaching vulnerable communities with healthcare and discipleship. Every outreach requires transport, medical supplies, medication, food for the team, accommodation, discipleship materials, and support for training young people through DTS. Many villagers cannot afford medical care or transport to distant clinics, so the mobile healthcare outreaches become a lifeline for them.
