Hey y’all! My name is Joshua Stewart, and I’m currently preparing for a six-month season training and doing missions with an organization called Circuit Riders! I’ve been accepted to their Fall 2026 Circuit Rider Experience (CRX), a discipleship and missions program that equips and sends young leaders to share the gospel and reach the next generation on university campuses.
I grew up going to church, and after an encounter with Jesus the previous year, God set a fire in my heart in 2023, and I’ve been running after Jesus ever since! Over the last few years, I’ve joyfully served in the junior high, high school, and college ministries at my church, and as a counselor at a Christian camp in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Back in February, I went to an event in my hometown led by a Circuit Riders team on tour, and I had a realization of just how desperately people need to know how much Jesus loves them, and how desperately I need to tell them. I’ve felt called for a long time to pursue ministry as my career, and Circuit Riders is my next step!
Circuit Riders is a missions and training community and organization based in Huntington Beach, California. An initiative born out of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), who prayed and commissioned them out as their own ministry this year, Circuit Riders disciples, trains, and sends young leaders to lead outreaches and gatherings that spark lasting movements of faith on their campuses, in their cities, and in the world. Our mission field is our generation!
The Circuit Rider Experience (CRX) is a missionary and discipleship training school that equips and empowers young people to lead and live on mission. There are two phases; Phase 1, the Training Phase, where students such as myself will be shaped through biblical teaching, worship, prayer, practical ministry training, and life in community, and Phase 2, the Outreach Phase, where we are sent in teams on evangelistic tours, carrying the love of Christ to campuses across the USA and the world! Phase 1 begins in mid-October and ends in mid-December while Phase 2 takes place from mid-January through mid-March, with a break for Christmas in between the two phases!

My goal is to raise $10,000 in one-time donations for my Circuit Rider Experience to pay for my tuition, my fees, to raise money for plane tickets, for food, and everything else I'm going to need along the way! The cost breakdown is as follows: A $750 non-refundable deposit (which I have paid), $3,150 tuition for the Training Phase, $3,000 fee for the Outreach Phase, and $3,100 for plane tickets to and from my outreach location, gas, food, and any other necessary personal expenses throughout the program. It is the sacrificial generosity of people like you that fuels this mission! The other way you can support me is through prayer! A wonderful bit of imagery I heard once is that prayer is like the batteries that power a Christmas gift. Maybe a remote control car or a new video game console. You’re anticipating the gift, it’s an awesome gift, and you’re so excited about it, but without any batteries, the gift doesn’t work. In a similar way, ministry, and the good fruit that ministry bears, is something we anticipate too.
