Hi everyone! My name is Jordyn Pretorius. I'm a 20 year old South African.

I was born and raised in South Africa and this year I am stepping out in faith to join the Fire & Fragrance Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).

This is something God has placed on my heart, and I am so excited to pursue Him in a deeper, life-changing way.  For the past few months, I have felt God stirring my heart towards missions and intimacy with Him. I’ve been pushing it aside and delaying it, but no longer will I delay. I have given Jesus my yes and cry out “Here am I send me Lord”

Fire & Fragrance focuses on:

• Radical intimacy with Jesus

• Worship and prayer

• Community transformation

• Taking the Gospel to the nations

This aligns so deeply with what God has been speaking to me.  

🌎 What I Will Be Doing? The DTS has two phases:

1. Lecture Phase (Training)

I will spend 3 months learning directly from missionaries and leaders about:

• Hearing God’s voice

• Identity in Christ

• Missions

• Evangelism

• Spiritual disciplines

• The Father heart of God

2. Outreach Phase (Missions)

For the next 2–3 months, I will go with a team to the nations to:

• Share the Gospel

• Serve communities

• Pray for the sick

• Partner with local churches

• Run worship and evangelism gatherings

This is where we put faith into action.
