Johnny and Jenni Gillespie serve with The Send, a global missions movement calling the church to leave the stands and step onto the field.

Their work is mobilization: stirring believers, especially young ones, to say yes to the nations and then helping them actually go. Johnny and Jenni have spent the last 20 years pouring into students, families, and local churches who sense God asking them for more than a comfortable faith. They make their home in Hawaii, where the ocean out front is a daily reminder of how many places still have never heard.

What friends notice first about the Gillespie’s is that mobilization is not a program to them, it is a household. Their table is usually full, their spare room is usually occupied, and the people who pass through tend to leave carrying a clearer sense of what God has asked of them.
