Hello Friends!

My name is Jayden Hanson and I will be embarking on a 6-month mission working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), which will be based out of Perth, Australia. The program at YWAM Perth will be a comprehensive and transformative experience that combines biblical teachings, cross-cultural immersion, and practical outreach opportunities within the city's community that will prepare me to further share Christ's word throughout Western Australia and the world.

The program will consist of three months of Discipleship Training at the YWAM base, followed by a three month outreach phase allowing me to put what I’ve learned into action by serving and sharing the gospel through communities in mission work throughout Southeast Asia.

For the past two years, I have been a student at Pepperdine University in pursuit of my bachelor's degree in International Business and Finance. Over this time I have grown in my relationship with Christ and learned to hear His voice and direction for my life, career,  and overall purpose.

This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern in Pennsylvania which afforded me the experience of a different culture from school and my home state of Washington. During this time I was blessed with spiritual mentors who inspired me to look into YWAM and mission work. I was compelled to submit to God’s plan to use my life to impact and help transform other’s lives. I have answered the call from God to defer my plans of entering my Junior year of college in order to follow Him and enter into the mission work.
