Hi! My name is John Gabriel Luther.

I am a missionary serving in the South Pacific with the organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Originally from North Carolina, USA, I am now based in Tauranga, New Zealand- calling the YWAM Pacific Reach base my home.

The goal of any YWAM base is to "know God and to make God known", and this is primarily done by the leading of young adults through different schools- the most popular one being a Discipleship Training School (DTS). As a staff member of Pacific Reach, I will be walking along side students and other staff members alike; encountering Jesus through: lectures, small groups, street evangelism, worship, intercession, outreaches, and so much more.

YWAM is a volunteer ministry, so this means I am relying on support, both financially and spiritually, from others. I am asking for donations, whether that be a one time donation or a partnership through monthly giving, to help pay for my staff fees to support my base and be involved in outreach missions in the South Pacific, as well covering my basic costs of living abroad- food, health, travelling, etc.
