My Story & Why I'm Pursuing This Path

Jesus met me when I was in 8th grade—at a time when I felt completely overwhelmed. I was struggling with anxiety, loneliness, and the weight of shame from the choices I was making. I was living for the world, and honestly, I just felt lost. One day, in the middle of all of that, I found myself crying out to God while I was in the shower. I asked Him to take my anxiety away and come into my life. I didn’t expect anything dramatic—but Jesus showed up. He met me right there, and that’s when everything started to change. That’s the moment I gave my life to Him.

Even though I was saved then, it took a while for my faith to really grow. For years, I felt stuck—like I believed in Jesus, but I wasn’t living fully for Him. Everything shifted when I finally started reading the Bible for myself. That’s when my relationship with God came alive. I’ve been on fire for Him ever since. I recently went on a mission trip to London, where we spent two weeks sharing the Gospel with people, inviting them into the Kingdom. That experience lit something even deeper in me—I’m ready and willing for God to use me however He wants. I just want to keep burning for Him and walking in step with His purpose for my life.

Why This School Matters to Me

I want to be part of this school because I’m hungry to go deeper in my faith. I don’t want to just feel passionate—I want to be grounded, steady, and full of wisdom. I want to hear God's voice more clearly and be quick to obey when He speaks. I’m also eager to grow in understanding the Bible—not just reading it, but really knowing it and letting it shape the way I live and lead.

More than anything, I just want to stay close to Jesus. I believe this school can help me grow in the areas where God is already at work in my heart, and I’m excited to learn, be stretched, and be poured into by others who are pursuing the same goals.
